What is a multi-seed sourdough country loaf?
A multi-seed sourdough country loaf is a traditional, rustic bread made with flour, water, and salt with various seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, flax, chia, and oat) included inside and on the crust. Our multi-seed loaves undergo long fermentation times, which help to break down the bran, making the bread more digestible, and supply an unmatched depth of flavor. Enjoy the bread alone, use it for sandwiches, or toast it and eat it with lashings of butter.
PRuK prides itself on making real, healthful bread! All of our country bread loaves contain a minimum of 20% fresh-milled wholegrain flour, and we will never use additives, preservatives or commercial yeast.

Multi-seed Sourdough Country
PRuK’s multi-seed country loaf increases health and adds a little toasted nuttiness to your bread.
More or Less?
Our classic sourdough country loaf is the oldest form of leavened bread containing no additions; our turmeric loaf provides a nutritional boost, a nutty crust, and a vibrant yellow crumb; and our walnut cranberry loaf is sweet, tart, and creamy.
Other types of bread...
Alternative bread styles include our rosemary and sea salt, black olive, or caramelized onion sourdough focaccia and our white or wholegrain sourdough sandwich loaves.
Not bread you are looking for?
We also offer both sweet and salty treats in the form of our brown butter chocolate chip cookies or sourdough crackers.
PRuK’s reusable cloth breadvelopes are excellent for storing your country loaves, your focaccia, and your sandwich bread. Place your loaf cut-side down inside the breadvelope on a wooden chopping board to store the bread for 2-3 days.
If you want to store your bread for longer, you can read our specific instructions in the country loaf section of our bread care page.
In short, we recommend freezing the bread. You can freeze the entire loaf, thaw it, and then refresh the loaf in the oven at 350 Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes (if you spray the loaf with water before refreshing it, you will be rewarded with a beautiful crispy crust), or you can slice and freeze individually for toast. Toast from frozen.
